Study Name: UTI Risk Study
Purpose: Drug-resistant urinary tract infections (UTIs) are increasing in prevalence all over the world, both in healthcare and community settings. New risk factors, like eating foods that are contaminated or travel, are beginning to be identified. In this study, we will identify new risk factors for drug-resistant UTIs and their complications through a questionnaire, like behaviors or environmental factors.
Do you qualify? You may be eligible if you:
- Are a woman, 18 years of age or older
- Meet other criteria
- What does the study involve?
- If you decide to take part, you will be asked to answer questions about your health in English or Spanish.
Compensation: If you qualify and enroll, you will receive up to $50 in gift cards.
Funding: This study is funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Participating in a clinical research study is voluntary. Your decision not to participate will not affect your ability to get regular medical care. If you are not interested in this study, you do not need to do anything.
